DETAILS
Embark on an exclusive full-day adventure through Northern Arizona’s most breathtaking landscapes on this Private Secret Antelope Canyon Tour from Sedona. This unforgettable journey takes you through the stunning Oak Creek Canyon, across the mesmerizing Painted Desert, and to a secluded, private overlook of the world-famous Horseshoe Bend before culminating in an intimate guided experience at the spectacular Secret Antelope Canyon—a lesser-known but equally stunning slot canyon away from the crowds.
Your adventure begins with a scenic drive up the winding switchbacks of Oak Creek Canyon, one of Arizona’s most beautiful and diverse landscapes. As you ascend toward the Colorado Plateau, marvel at the towering red rock formations, lush pine forests, and striking canyon walls. Your guide will share fascinating geological insights and historical tidbits about this unique region.
Continuing north, you’ll traverse the Painted Desert, a vast expanse of colorful, eroded badlands stretching across Northern Arizona. This otherworldly terrain, rich in history and culture, is home to unique rock formations with a stunning palette of reds, oranges, purples, and pinks.
Upon your arrival in Page, visit the overlook at Glen Dam, a 700-foot engineering marvel that separates Lake Powell from the head of the Grand Canyon. Explore the fascinating Carl Hayden visitor center before we head to lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch you’ll embark on a guided exploration of Secret Antelope Canyon, an exclusive section of the famous Antelope Canyon that has been in family hands for five generations. This canyon provides an intimate experience without the crowds, allowing you to fully appreciate the mesmerizing light beams, swirling sandstone walls, and intricate natural formations. Your expert Navajo guide will share stories about the canyon’s cultural significance and advise you how to take the most stunning photos.
This tour also includes a visit of a private overlook of Horseshoe Bend, a world-famous meander in the Colorado River hundreds of feet below. Unlike the public viewpoint, this private access allows for a serene and personal experience, with sweeping panoramic views of the emerald waters within the deep canyon walls.
